Johansen's First Hatty Runs Up Wild for 6

Ryan Johansen achieved his first career NHL hat trick with 7 seconds left in regulation as the Nashville Predators beat the Minnesota Wild 6-2 Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena.

Roman Josi opened the scoring log for the Preds with his 19th of the season at the 5:10 mark of period 1 on the power play. Much later on, Minnesota would tie things at 1 courtesy of Mats Zuccarello (21) at 13:37. Nashville, however, would add a pair of goals, both by Johansen (18 and 19) and both on the power play to give the Preds a 3-1 lead heading to the 2nd period.

Philip Tomasino (11) at 6:06 made it 4-0 Nashville, while Minnesota's Kirill "The Thrill" Kaprizov scored his 40th of the season on the power play at 17:51 to cut the Preds' lead in half, putting the Wild 4-2 down heading to the 3rd period.

Only 2 goals were scored in the 3rd, and they were both by Nashville, the first coming from Matt Duchene (36) at 13:28 to make it 5-2 and Johansen completing his hat trick at 19:53 for a 6-2 victory.
